Sarah Krywokulsky

Executive Director

Sarah Krywokulsky, executive director of Alexi Senior Living, found her passion for working with the elderly after firsthand experiencing her family’s dedication to caring for her elderly family members. After suffering from a stroke, Sarah’s grandfather moved in with her family so they could ensure he would be given the best life possible in his final years. Sarah’s family also cared for her grandmother once she was not able to live independently. Sarah knows she was truly blessed to have both of her grandparents living with her at different points in her life as it influenced her view of the world and the way that we should care for the elderly. Sarah says that, in this career path, she wants to make a difference by ensuring the elderly are properly cared for and provided enjoyable daily opportunities.

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and her master’s degree in social work specializing in gerontology from Dominican University, where she was also awarded the Kott Gerontology Scholarship.

While in school, Sarah worked at the nursing home where she and her grandmother previously volunteered when she was growing up. In her final semester of graduate school, she accepted a position at her internship to be the director of the Adult Day Healthcare Services. After a few years of enhancing the program, Sarah moved on to work in a number of positions including social worker, program director, quality assurance director and administrator. She later accepted a position as the executive director of a supportive living community.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and her four dogs. She also enjoys spending time outside, cooking, baking and doing projects around the house.

She looks forward to this opportunity as the executive director and will ensure that Alexi Senior Living provides the best possible quality care and experience for our residents and their family.
