What Exactly is Memory Care?
Memory Care is one of the specialized level of assisted living and care for older adults/seniors suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or other memory-related illnesses. Residents live in a living assisted living community on-site, where they have 24-hour care and access to a variety of senior care options. In a memory care memory community, we care for our seniors whether they require routine access to healthcare professionals, assistance with daily activities such as bathing and transferring, or both. We provide better alzheimer’s care, dementia care and care for other memory related illnesses.

What is Alzheimers ?
Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive state neurologic disorder that causes the brain to shrink (atrophy), as well as the death of brain cells, as the Alzheimer’s disease advances and proper care is required. When it comes to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause. The term Dementia is defined as a progressive decline in thinking, behavioural, and social skills that significantly impairs a person’s ability to function independently.
Memory loss and other important mental functions are destroyed as a result of Alzheimer’s disease. Every week, a physician and a nurse practitioner visits our communities and sees our residents and gets to know them personally. The staff in our communities are specially trained by a Certified Dementia Practitioner and participates in dementia-focused continuing education modules.
